Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring ethically raised, grass-finished beef to families seeking to revitalize their lives with whole, nutrient-dense foods.
Our Story
At 1876 Heritage Farms, we are the meeting place for nutrition & taste!
Nestled in the scenic hills of Oro-Medonte, Ontario, our family farm has been passed down and along since 1876. For generations, we've worked the land with care and today we are recognized as the leading farm-to-table beef producer that our customers have come to trust.Â
We are passionate about providing healthy, nutrient-dense beef for families who care about where their food comes from. Our grassfed and finished, pasture-raised beef is produced on a regenerative farm—no hormones, no antibiotics, just pure, wholesome food you can trust. We believe in treating our animals with the utmost respect and care, handling them daily with kindness to ensure their well-being.Â
At the heart of our farm is a deep commitment to regenerative farming. This practice goes beyond sustainability—it's about restoring and improving the land we farm. Regenerative farming rejuvenates the soil, allowing it to capture more carbon, retain water better, and support a thriving ecosystem of plants, insects, and animals. Healthy soil leads to healthier grass, which in turn produces more nutrient-dense beef. By rotating our livestock and using methods that promote biodiversity, we're actively healing the land while reducing our farm's carbon footprint.Â
We rely on natural processes to enhance soil fertility and control pests, leading to cleaner, more wholesome food. This approach not only creates healthier food for your family but also promotes a more resilient environment—one that's better equipped to face climate challenges and support future generations.Â
By farming this way, we're not just producing beef; we're contributing to the long-term health of our land, our animals, and the people who enjoy our products. It's a holistic system that benefits everyone—from the soil beneath our feet to the food on your plate.Â
We're not marketers, we're farmers, the real deal—and our focus has always been on producing beef you can feel good about serving your family. Whether you're looking to nourish your loved ones with clean, ethically raised beef or to support sustainable farming practices, we're proud to be part of your table.Â
